Is zoom laser whitening safe for your teeth?
I found a dentist that will give me a free whitening if I get my cleanings done there. The problem is I really like my current dentist and it took several dentist to find one I like. So is this zoom laser whitening worth it? I don’t know how much it would cost if I just paid for it. Also, I asked my current dentist about the laser whitening and they don’t even offer, because she says it breaks down the enamel on your teeth and damages them. I have really yellow teeth though. Any advice?

Suggest:
The research has shown that enamel doesn’t weaken teeth. The over the counter bleaches are just as effective, but work more slowly. The weird thing to me is that a dentist would do free bleaching as long as you committed to becoming a patient. I don’t know what state you live in, but I’m sure it’s not considered ethical. I think it’s very hard to find a dentist you like (I fly out of state for mine). So, the Zoom whitening (which we do) is only faster than over the counter, not better. (I tell all my patients this and let them chose)
