Couple of Zoom Teeth Whitening questions please?
I have been considering getting this procedure done, but I have a couple of questions before I can really decide.
-How much is the procedure cost (I dont foresee it being covered by insurance, so it would probably be 100% out-of-pocket expense)
-Does it work with caps as well? (I have 4 crowns due to broken teeth when I was a child, would it whiten them as well, or would they need to re-do my crowns)?
Opinion:
Cost wise, I’ve noticed that it varies. The office I work in charges about $400. But I’ve heard of it being as much as $700. I have yet to see an insurance company that covers any kind of whitening so yes, I would definitely plan on it being a completely out-of-pocket expense. You have to check with your local offices to see what they charge. If you’re having trouble locating an office that provides this service, I know you can go to the Zoom website and find providers.

I don’t know about the cost but I do know that they will not whiten your crowns. They would have to be redone after you reach your desired shade. We used Zoom at the office I last worked at and it turned out really well. I can’t recall how much we charged for it though, we didn’t have many patients have it done so it might have been pricey. Hope this helps some!
